Athletico Physical Therapy is your local, premier outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic! Whether you had joint surgery, have muscle pain, or have decreased function, seeing one of our experts first provides you with a personalized plan to reach your health goals and minimize the risk of future injury.
“We help set our patients on a clear path toward life without pain and optimum function. We are passionate about exceptional care, and work closely with you throughout your treatment to get you back to the activities you love.” shared Samantha Cooper Cauthon, Facility Manager and Physical Therapist
Athletico Physical Therapy opened in 2017 and had their sights on assisting the hard working and active people of Prairie Village in continuing to enjoy the activities and people that they love while not letting pain and injuries get in the way. Through Kansas' Direct Access law, patients are able to come see the team at Athletico first to get started on your path to recovery right away.
Athletico is a nation wide company that has been defining top-notch care since 1991. Over the last 3 years Athletico has had the pleasure of being part of The Shops of Prairie Village family. Located on the convenient corner of Tomahawk Rd and Prairie Lane between the Post Office and Rimann Liquors!
“We love partnering with our neighbors to better serve the Prairie Village community through various events. In September, we helped organize a community dog walk with our friends at On the Ball! Be on the lookout for future events! “ shared Kate Hickerson, Physical Therapist
All physical therapy treatments take place in a safe and welcoming environment. Each session is focused on your progress and safety is Athletico’s number one priority.
“We have been able to keep our doors open this year by our company's quick and aggressive response to COVID including a round-the-clock COVID response team to support any clinic needs that arise. We have been able to maximize employee and patient safety by adapting local and national mandates as well as CDC recommended best practices in our clinic's conduct and cleaning protocols. All new patients are thoroughly screened and we monitor temperatures and potential symptoms of staff and patients daily. “ shared Jared Gergon, Office Coordinator.
