Dolce Bakery, opened 13 years ago by owner Erin Brown, is a fan-favorite local bakery. Known for their classic cinnamon rolls, scones, layer cakes, cookies, wedding cakes and dessert catering options - there is truly something sweet for everyone!

Erin’s passion for baking started at a young age and opening Dolce was a life-long dream. Growing from a lean team of 5 to now over 30 members, her dream has expanded and continues to flourish.

“When I was a teenager, my mentor asked me, 'If you could spend your time doing anything you wanted to do, what might that be?' We opened 2 days before Thanksgiving in 2007 and our mixers and ovens have hardly had a day off since! My team is a powerhouse. They are wildly creative and work tirelessly to serve each other and our customers well. They are one of the greatest gifts that owning this company has given me.” shared Erin.

Everything from Dolce’s menu is baked from scratch and the team takes no shortcuts in ensuring each dessert comes from high quality ingredients - and most importantly, is baked with love.

”The heart of Dolce is to create things that bring joy. I still get teary eyed when I hear little ones squeal with delight as they pick out their cupcakes and cookies. I beam with pride that our delicious treats are at the center of so many of our customers' life celebrations.” shared, Erin.

Dolce has a few exciting additions to share. They have a brand new espresso bar and are serving up the amazing Oddly Correct espresso in Dolce's signature drinks! Located across from the clock tower and next to RSVP in the Village, Dolce loves being in the heart of the Prairie Village community.
