In 2002, KC Hopps met with local residences and asked. “WHAT do you want for a restaurant in your neighborhood?” From there, the Blue Moose Brand was born and it all started here in Prairie Village. 

For more than 18 years, Blue Moose Bar and Grill endeavored to be the finest upscale-casual restaurant in the neighborhood. They remain dedicated to providing a friendly staff who serves hand-crafted cocktails and delicious fare from our scratch menus.

“We take pride in providing an atmosphere where our guests feel comfortable, worry-free and at home when visiting. Blue Moose is the perfect place to meet friends and family in the neighborhood! Wine and dine, or have a beer and cheer!” said owner Ed Nelson

Blue Moose offers creative cocktails and cuisine specials all week long! Every Tuesday enjoy $15 wine bottles! Thursdays is all day Rufus Teague Baby Back Ribs. Friday nights enjoy the Wood-Grilled Prime Rib special and on Saturday nights you must try the delicious Surf & Turf feature.

Blue Moose also offers weekly happy hour food and drink specials every weekday between 3 to 6pm. Prefer to eat at home? Enjoy curbside pick up, carryout, or delivery. Order online!

Blue Moose has made a few adjustments, but it’s the same great Blue Moose you know and love.
