Meet Your Merchant: SCOOBIE Boutique

Owner of SCOOBIE Boutique and local Prairie Village resident, Sarah Jabbour, had dreamt of owning her own boutique since she was 14 years old. In 2019, her dream came true and Sarah opened up SCOOBIE Boutique. The store is stocked with women’s clothing and accessories that are mostly all under $100.

SCOOBIE’s story didn’t start just last year. Sarah worked a full time job and ran her side hustle, SCOOBIE, for 8 years before opening up her doors in The Shops of Prairie Village.

“I started the business eight years ago as a side hustle while working a full-time marketing job, with the hopes of one day being able to open a store of my own. After the first three years I was able to leave my 9-5 job to continue to grow and expand the business with the continued goal of one day having my own storefront.  It has been a long road to get to this point, but so glad the past has led us to the Prairie Village space today!” shared Sarah.

As a busy mom to 3-year old twin girls and a one year old boy, Sarah understands the importance of work & life balance. She values the Prairie Village community and is thrilled to be part of the Shops of Prairie Village merchants.

“Our family is very much a part of the Prairie Village community and with living close to the Prairie Village shops, we visit the shops multiple times a week. I have loved getting to know our customers (many of which are neighbors and now I can call friends) and love picking out items for the people in our community--many of which are going through the same life stages as me!” exclaimed Sarah.

SCOOBIE’s selection of affordable and adorable fashion is hand selected from all over the country by Sarah herself. The SCOOBIE team works hard to add in new arrivals daily that keeps the inventory fresh and fun for all ages.

“Before Covid we hand selected each item in our shop, traveling across the country to hand select the best quality products at the best prices. Now that travel is limited, we use our resources we have gained over the last 8 years since opening our shop to continue to find the best quality products for our amazing customers via photos, video calls and more from our showrooms.” shared Sarah

SCOOBIE is located on the courtyard side between WELWYTHN and Caffetteria.

“Our PV Community is STRONG and I am so blessed to have such loyal, and supportive customers to help us through these challenging times.”

Sarah and the SCOOBIE team quickly adapted to today’s challenging times by pivoting their boutique business to fit all their customers comfort levels. SCOOBIE now offers all clothing online, shipping, no contact/in-store pick up as well as private shopping appointments. They are cleaning and sanitizing commonly uses surfaces and have installed a plexiglass shield at check out.
