Meet Your Merchant: The Village Dentist

The Village Dentist has been a local go-to dentist in The Shops of Prairie Village for 10 years! Owned by Dr. Jennifer McAroy and operated as a female owned business. The Village Dentist holds a certification and licensure to administer sedation dentistry, and all other types of dentistry.

Dr. McAroy obtained her dental degree from UMKC in 2004 and completed a very rigorous residency program at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma. She currently is on staff at KU Med Center.

“I was previously a chemist for the largest privately held commodity company in the world. Opera was almost my major.” shared Dr. McAroy.

Dr. McAroy opened her dental practice to provide dentistry in an ethical and nurturing manner. At The Village Dentist, the employees are family and the patients are too! Located on the north side of The Village - they are conveniently close to your favorite pizza shop, Minsky’s Pizza.

”We have had 5-stage air filtration for many years so that’s not new. We will take your temperature, ask you a few questions and get your oxygen level when you arrive. The waiting room is empty (or close to it) now. We are hopeful time allows us to relax the restrictions on our patients, but the requirements for us will continue- safety is paramount. “ said Dr. McAroy
